سنگسار یک اسلحه سیاسی رژیم اسلامی برای حفظ خود است. سه دهه است که این رژیم جنایتکار با شلاق و اعدام و شکنجه و سنگسار جامعه را به بند کشیده و به عمر ننگین خود ادامه داده است. اعدام مستمر نوجوانان و همجنسگرایان و مخالفین سیاسی از جمله قتل عام ده ها هزار نفر از زندانیان سیاسی دفن آنها در گورهای جمعی بی نام و نشان، سنگسار بیش از ۱۵٠ نفر و اکثرا از زنان به "جرم" رابطه جنسی خارج از ازدواج، به شلاق بستن زن و مرد در ملا عام و در مقابل چشم عزیزانشان، قطع دست و پا و چشم درآوردن و بقتل رساندن "مجرمین" با پرتاب از بلندی، اعمال انواع شکنجه های جسمی و روانی به زندانیان سیاسی، به گلوله بستن مردم در خیابانها، ترور فعالین و چهره های اپوزیسیون در داخل و خارج کشور بخشی از کارنامه سیاه این حکومت است.

 

محکومیت سکینه محمدی آشتیانی به سنگسار و اعدام نمادی از ماهیت جنایتکارانه و ضد انسانی رژیم اسلامی است؛ و مبارزه برای آزادی سکینه نیز نماد و بخشی از مبارزه مردم ایران - و جهان- برای خلاصی از شر این حکومت قرون وسطائی است. سه دهه است مردم ایران مبارزات مستمر و پیگیری را در عرصه های مختلف علیه این حکومت جنایتکار به پیش میبرند. این مبارزات در تابستان سال گذشته به اوج خود رسید و توجه جهانیان را بخود جلب کرد. ندا آقا سلطان یک چهره و سمبل این جنبش انقلابی و سکینه آشتیانی نماد دیگری از این جنبش است. ندا قربانی شد ولی سکینه را میتوانیم و باید نجات بدهیم. نجات سکینه گام بزرگی بجلو در مبارزه علیه جمهوری اسلامی و در مقابل کل جنبش اسلام سیاسی در سراسر جهان خواهد بود.

 

تروریسم اسلامی امروز در خاورمیانه، در شمال آفریقا و در کل جهان دست بجنایت میزند و جمهوری اسلامی ستون فقرات این تروریسم بین المللی اسلامی است. بزیر کشیده شدن این حکومت بقدرت مردم ایران ضربه محکمی به کل جنبش اسلامی در سراسر دنیا وارد خواهد کرد. مردم ایران و مردم جهان باید از شر جمهوری اسلامی خلاص شوند و مبارزات یکساله اخیر و همین کارزار جهانی جاری علیه سنگسار راه واقعی و انسانی رهائی از شر جمهوری اسلامی را به همه مردم دنیا نشان میدهد. راه حل حمله نظامی و محاصره اقتصادی نیست. نباید اجازه داد سناریوی سیاه عراق و افغانستان تکرار شود. راه حل واقعی حمایت مردم و شخصیتها و نیروها و سازمانها مترقی از مبارزات مردم ایران و طرد و برسمیت نشناختن حکومت اسلامی از جانب دولتها و نهادهای بین المللی است. این تنها راه حل عملی، انسانی، متمدنانه و امکان پذیر برای بزیر کشیدن جمهوری اسلامی است. حتی اگر کسی تنها نگران مساله پروژه هسته ای و حمایتهای جمهوری اسلامی از تروریسم در منطقه است باید از مبارزات مردم ایران علیه حکومت اسلامی حمایت کند. کمپین جهانی علیه سنگسار و اعدام در ایران اکنون در راس این مبارزات قرار دارد. به این کمپین بپیوندید و به هر نحو که میتوانید به آن کمک کنید.

The International Campaign to Save Sakineh Ashtiani Shows the Way to Liberation from the Islamic Regime in Iran

 

For the Islamic regime in Iran stoning is a survival tool. This criminal regime has for over three decades enchained the entire Iranian society through jailing, flogging, torturing, executing, stoning, etc., and thus managed to prolong its despicable life. Stoning over 150 people, predominantly women, to death for the ‘crime’ of sex out of wedlock; continuous execution of political opponents, including the massacre of tens of thousands of political prisoners and burying them in unmarked mass graves; systematic execution of adolescents; execution of the gay people; flogging men and women in public, as well as in front of their loved ones; gouging eyes; amputating limbs; killing the ‘perpetrators’ by pushing them off the cliff; torturing political prisoners physically and emotionally in a multitude of unspeakable ways; opening fire on people in the streets; and assassination of opposition activists and personalities inside and outside the country form only a part of this regime’s horrendous track record.

 

On the one hand, sentencing Sakineh Ashtiani to stoning or hanging is a manifestation of the criminal nature of the Islamic state in Iran, and, on the other hand, fighting to free her is a part of the struggles of the people of Iran, as well as the world, for liberation from this medieval regime. For the past 30 years the Iranian people have been waging continuous, steadfast struggles against the criminal regime in different fields. These struggles reached their peak, and captured the world’s attention, in the summer of last year. Neda Agha-Soltan and Sakineh Ashtiani are two faces, two symbols, of the same revolutionary movement in Iran. Neda fell victim to the murderous regime, but Sakineh can, and must, be saved. Saving Sakineh will be a great step forward in the struggle against the Islamic Republic as well as against the world movement of political Islam in its entirety.

 

The Islamic Republic is the back bone of Islamic terrorism, which today commits crimes throughout the world, especially in the Middle East and North Africa. Bringing down the regime in Iran will strike a hard blow at the whole movement of political Islam across the world. The people of Iran and, indeed, the world must, therefore, rid themselves of the menace the Islamic Republic. The on-going revolutionary movement in Iran and the current international campaign against stoning are showing the people of the world the feasible, humane way of doing just that. Military attack or economic siege is not the way. The real way is that the people, the personalities and the progressive organizations of the world support the struggles of the Iranian people, and the governments as well as international bodies refuse to recognize the Islamic regime and isolate it proactively. That is the only viable, humane, civilized and practicable way to bring it down. Even if people are only worried about this regime’s nuclear projects and its support for terrorism in the region, they must actively support the struggles of the Iranian people.
