Rise against Death Penalty

October 10 is the international day
against death penalty. This year the General Assembly of the
UN plans to pass a statement that demands all governments to
suspend death penalty. On October 10 the whole world will
focus on state sponsored deliberate murder, that is, death
penalty, which is still practiced by many governments
including the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The Islamic regime, which is
ranked first for the number of executions in ratio to
population and for public executions, will be the target of
global protests. Let us use this opportunity to make this
day a turning point in the fight against death penalty and
against the regime of one hundred thousands executions. We
call upon all to participate in the programs organized on
October 10.
